2.)Attach anchor lines (not provided...weed whip cord works well) to steel "O" rings on aerator. Make the length of anchor lines a minimum of 2-3 times the depth of pond. Allow 24 hours for float equalization. Some float balancing may be required by adding weight, just below the water line, to either anchor line. Simple fishing weights work best.
3.)Place aerator in pond and attach free ends of anchor line to stakes or submerged 3 pound weights (not provided). Move anchor lines to position aerator in desired position. After float equalization period weights may need to be added to anchor lines to balance float.
4.)Inspect unit and remove debris daily. Clean pump water inlet screen area on bottom of unit. Initially this may be as often as daily.

WHAT ABOUT ICE FORMATION, SEVERE COLD? The unit must be taken out-of-service and removed from the water during freezing weather.
